Rosie O'Donnell Got a "They" Tattoo to Remember Her Teen's Pronouns

This story originally appeared on Out.As Rosie O’Donnell prepares for her big week in front of a national audience of millions, she's sharing a very personal story that shows just how far she'll go to support her youngest child: She gave herself a permanent reminder in their honor, in the form of a tattoo on her wrist.The out actress and former talk show host will return to network television for the first time in 11 years starting Monday, Aug. 17 as substitute host of Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC. Fans and followers of O'Donnell, 64, know she frequently shares photos and videos of Clay, 13, on Instagram, as recently as June. During a recent appearance on Amy Poehler’s podcast Good Hang, O'Donnell discussed Clay coming out as nonbinary in 2024 and using they/them pronouns.
