Our Story

We're not a corporation. We're your community.

One honest place for the things our community actually needs, built by people who needed it too.

QueerLine started with a simple frustration. When you need real LGBTQ+ information, your health, your rights, or where to find help, you end up with ten browser tabs open, unsure which sources you can actually trust. We wanted one honest place instead.

We're a small, independent team based in Oregon, built and run by LGBTQ+ people. We're not a big company, we're not a government program, and no one is paying us to tell you what to think. We built this quietly over a long time because we wanted to get it right, not because anyone told us to.

We're still growing, and we're listening. This is for you, and it gets better because of you.

Our promise to you

Free to use, always

Every resource, guide, search, and community feature is free for you. We keep the lights on through optional paid listings and sponsorships for businesses, never by charging the people who come here for help.

We never sell your data

Not to advertisers, not to anyone. We don't trade it, rent it, or hand it over for profit. You are never the product here. Full stop.

Independent and honest

Our health and rights information comes from trusted sources, and we keep it current. When something is opinion or general guidance, we say so plainly.

No dating, no matchmaking

This is a resource and community platform, not a hookup app. It has no dating or matchmaking features of any kind, and it never will.

If something is missing or confusing, please tell us. A few honest sets of eyes help us more than you know, and every good idea this site has came from someone in the community.

With love,The QueerLine Team
