A Chicago drag institution founded in 1969 and now located in the Uptown neighborhood on North Broadway. The Baton Show Lounge is home to the Miss Continental pageant one of the most prestigious drag competitions in the country. The performers at the Baton are considered some of the finest gender illusionists in the world and the shows are elaborate polished and genuinely spectacular.
