Hello and Happy Friday, folks!Audience Editor Edgar Ramirez here, back in your inbox with reporting from The Advocate's Jacob Ogles on Vincent Anthony Siqueiros and Cameron Davis Capara, the two gay men who were killed in a hate crime outside Venture-N, an Arizona gay bar.As Jacob reports, a vigil was held for the two at Tucson’s Catalina Park, where about 1,000 gathered to honor their lives.Those who knew the two men through the Venture-N community said both lived life on their own terms.“They were genuinely who they were,” said Brian King, a friend of both men. “They didn't try to be anybody else, they didn't conform, they didn't kiss ass.
