We Broke a One Wish Willow and Now Inde Navarette and Ethel Cain Are Friends

Inde Navarette, the openly bisexual star of the summer box-office horror sensation Obsession, made a recent appearance in an Instagram story posted by none other than Ethel Cain. In the story, posted to Cain’s social media on Tuesday, Navarette sitting down with a cigarette dangling from her mouth. In a June interview with the Mixed Feelings newsletter, the Obsession star — who is picking up Oscar buzz for her horror performance — responded“any song by Ethel Cain” when asked what music made her feel most understood. Navarette then specifically pointed to Cain’s song “Nettles.” Well, it seems her One Wish Willow must have worked!Cain had also previously commented underneath a Navarette Instagram post, “you are mind blowing,” to which Navarette responded, “um i luv u. just in case u were wondering.” Some people speculated online that there might be a collaboration forthcoming, with several people hoping that Navarette might star in a film project that would be set in the Preacher’s Daughter universe. Cain has previously expressed in Interview that she would be open to making a film about the Preacher’s Daughter character that has, so far, been a major part of her artistic output. “I really don’t like plot holes, so I’m constantly working to make sure it all fits.
