It's not just me (Hi! Audience Editor Edgar Ramirez here) who is curious; U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper is demanding answers. As Christopher Wiggins reports, Cooper wants to know why the Kennedy Center remains hidden behind a tarp nearly two weeks after workers removed President Donald Trump’s name from its facade under court order. The judge ordered the parties in Rep. Joyce Beatty’s lawsuit against Trump and the Kennedy Center’s leadership to explain the purpose and status of the tarp and scaffolding covering the building’s front portico. The explanation must be included in a joint status report filed within seven days of a Kennedy Center Board of Trustees meeting expected in mid-July, or by July 31, whichever comes first. We'll see if the president takes a break from his cringy "impersonation" to meet the deadline. Yet again, his Department of Education's mascot quest could hold him up.Stay with us and we'll be sure to provide an update when we get one.Until then, have a great Wednesday, all!Judge demands answers on Kennedy Center’s Trump tarp of shameTrump mocks cisgender women as weak in bizarre anti-trans sports rant to factory workersJudge blocks Trump DOJ from seizing trans youths’ medical records from NYC hospitalsAdult star Drake Von claims sobriety, but nitrous was found in car crashHere are the queer stories that you won’t find in most history booksKristi Noem’s husband wanted to be called Crystal, longtime dominatrix saysElizabeth Warren warns new Trump federal housing rule could put LGBTQ+ people on the street
